Hellooooo my lovelies.
Well, yesterday was certainly exciting, I know I enjoyed it much.
My mom had free tickets for the showing of "The Nutcracker" at the Westchester County Center. It was done by the Westchester Ballet company and a lot of people I know are in it, so I was excited to watch it (even though I've seen it numerous times before).
We arrived there early so we could get good seats (front row...heh, I wasn't wearing my glasses). I thought it was awesome (yes, the ballet was awesome-maybe not Goldfinger live in concert, but hey, it was all good) and the performers did an extraordinary job, I really loved it. Very talented people.
We left early because we had a party to attend at 7 at NJ, about an hour away, and the play wasn't ending until 6:15 or so. Turns out there's a whole mob of traffic because one of the exits were shut down (by the time we got there the whole thing was already cleared and only remnants of flares had been left). We arrived half an hour late (I didn't mind, I was expecting the party to be horrible boring because it was just my dad's co workers getting drunk).
But it wasn't. I got 30 bucks outta that party. In your face to all those who think girls can't play poker.
Well, poker2, it's a different version with some similar things to regular poker.
But I still won.
I beat out my dad and all his other co-workers. It was beautiful...I couldn't stop lauhing in their faces. Well yes, I could, but nevermind that.
We played until around 4 in the morning and then we left (I left $30 richer) because my sis had CCD at 9.
And the weekend is getting better my friend, for snow is falling hard...and quickly. I expect it to fall this hard until tomorrow and I predict the schools will be closed.
